    I went out with a korean girl, and she was puffy hearts all the time. She still is! I don't believe in this stereotype. And I know oh so many korean girls. Most of my friends are korean. I think the ones you really need to watch out for the half japanese girls! :D

    I'm betting it's more pissed off girlfriends behaving pissed off than anything related to ethnicity/culture. And I bet the group was started by dudes who expected their girlfriends to be quiet, subservient, hello kitty loving ladies.

    Funny, I have not heard that about Korean women. On the other hand, I have heard that Vietnamese women can be very tough. I have a good Vietnamese-American woman friend from college who I know I would not want to get on her bad side

    Now that I think about it, that Facebook group is really offensive. Taiwanese women can throw Xbox controllers with amazing accuracy too. I feel invisible and marginalized.

    Yes, you Korean chicks rock in archery. I do archery from time to time and was just amazed to see these girls nail a target the size of an orange from 250 feet away, I can maybe do it from 40-50 yards, but it's been years since I've practiced. The Korean men aren't shabby either.

    Maybe 8a should do an Asian girl Xbox controller throwing contest, using their ex-boyfriends as targets! Can we get Microsoft to sponsor this? Ernie? anyone?

    Well, Koreans are the drama kings/queens of Asia. Korean film makers are constantly poking fun at the Korean tendency to howl, moan, and wail. Personally, I believe ALL Korean people have bad tempers not just the girls. Must have something to do with all the spicy food we consume.

    Seriously though, considering Korea and Vietnam's history of colonization and subjugation one has to assume that the survivors would be tough little m*therf*ckers.

    I'm all for venting...but c'mon -- there's SOMETHING a little wrong here! I've dated all sorts of ethnicities, but I find that being Asian, there's always an unspoken assumption that I'll be a quiet, smart, and somewhat submissive, BUT also there's the stereotype that I'll be completely INSANE (must be from all the things I hold in being quiet and submissive, huh?)

    All I'm trying to say, is that something is a little off about this.

    Actually, I'm really annoyed that people agree with the group myself, especially since it's other Asians who are perpetuating these stereotypes. Sure, it could be seen as poking fun, but at the same time, aren't we just feeding into the stereotypes for mainstream consumption that Asian women are only submissives, or the evil dragon ladies?

    I personally have never heard that asian women in general are violent as a stereotype. Honestly, I just never heard about that. There's the asian mom stereotype that me and my friends always talk about, but that's all in jest. we all know we love our mom's. :D

    But yeah, not sure if this is any better to the docile type stereotype. Honestly, there are just so many stereotypes though, I just can't keep track.

    From my experience:
    It's better to get slaped from time to time,
    than to endure a whiny nagging voice.
    (of course, there are girls who mastered both ...)
    I am not into sm stuff, so don't get me wrong ....
    it's just ... if i have to choose ... a slap is faster ...

    btw. I am not korean, just a chinese guy living in europe

    really? I found chinese-taiwanese & cantonese, viet and thai the roughest asian chicks of all, but have never experienced or even heard anything about korean chicks like rough or violent. Aren't they rather sumissive and traditional? My korean ex treated me like a king.. she was so sweet, always encouraging me, cooking, cleaning my home, doing laundry for me, and taking care of me really well but she sadly left me for her father who just hated me so much because I'm chinese. chinese and viet chicks are just too naggy and controlling. I just can't bare with it anymore.
