8Asians.com: Top 15 Sexiest Asian Males, As Rated By the Women of 8A

  • Ben Hwang · 2 years ago
lol. Gotta change the numbering so you use an OL listing.

I'd definitely put Takeshi and Russell on there. Jin? OMG. Yeah, although he's effeminate. But if we're going to go with effeminate guys, then I'd nominate up: Gackt. That guy has such good skin, that he makes me question my sexuality. Well, not really, but he's one good looking guy when it comes to effeminate ones.

Nicholas Tse and a couple others aren't terribly bad when it comes to looks. More of the old school though.

Now I'm waiting for the top ten sexiest women post. lol.

Don't forget Tony Leung, John Cho, and Bruce Lee!
  • Tracey · 2 years ago
Girls, I can't believe Daniel Henney didn't make it onto your list for real! ;)
  • Xxxtine · 2 years ago
I would also like to add Gong Yoo to my list.
  • Kenny · 2 years ago
    What? No Masi Oka?
  • :: jozjozjoz :: · 2 years ago
I said I was done, but I forgot Dean Cain.
  • Akrypti · 2 years ago
Holy crap Joz. HOW COULD WE HAVE FORGOTTEN DEAN CAIN? WHAT IS WRONG WITH US? I totally heart Dean Cain! Superman, baby!! Omigod. For reals...
  • Kenny · 2 years ago
I'd hardly consider Dean Cain Asian. He's like a quarter Japanese and if you passed him on the street, you'd see him as white.
  • Claire · 2 years ago
Kenny, perhaps you just don't have good A-dar like us ladies of 8a. I can sense the Asian in peeps, even if it's diluted. Especially when they are Superhot, I mean Superman.
  • Xxxtine · 2 years ago
If I'm not mistaken, Dean Cain identifies himself as Japanese-American - who are we to count the percentage of his Asianness.
  • Kenny · 2 years ago
So, where do we draw the line?

I have a friend who looks completely white but says that he's Hispanic because he's 1/8th Hispanic. Isn't "race" about interrupting how someone "looks?" Therefore, if one looks white, Asian, Hispanic, or black, in essentially becomes that race by defaulted and is treated as such, no?

When Lois and Clark was on the air back in the 90s, every single person who talked about that show had no idea he was a quarter Asian. Even then, they treated him as a white guy.

He has every right to declare himself whatever he wishes. Self identification and how you are viewed are two separate categories. My buddy has every right to declare himself Hispanic. He's technically not lying even though others give him a dirty look because he looks like an example of where the Aryans met the Saxons. One thing that's interesting is that he has never been called a spic when his other Latino friends have.

    Why?
  • Kenny · 2 years ago
    Man, awesome typos.

"Therefore, if one looks white, Asian, Hispanic, or black, in essentially becomes that race by defaulted and is treated as such, no?"

    should read

"Therefore, if one looks white, Asian, Hispanic, or black, they essentially become that race and are treated as such, no?"

Uh, we're talking about a list of hot boys here Kenny, not the Kyoto protocol. I myself draw the line at abs. Super abs.
  • Akrypti · 2 years ago
    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Well. It depends, Claire. Are any of the men who drafted the Kyoto Protocol hot?

Abs? Eh. I really get turned on my nice forearms. Toned, tanned, slim, firm, smooth forearms....that look strong and rugged...forearms that could just...
  • Xxxtine · 2 years ago
Kenny, I draw the line at Steven Seagal parading.
  • Kenny · 2 years ago
Well, I know the topic was meant to be comical but can you actually refute what I just said?

If Dean Cain can declare himself Asian even if he doesn't look Asian and is treated like a white guy, what stops my friend from telling other Latinos to stop complaining about racism even though he doesn't actually look or treated like one?

(He doesn't actually say that but what to stop him from doing so?)

Maybe you all should include Mark Paul Gosselaar as a hot Asian guy too.
  • Scooby Doo · 2 years ago
What about this year's "Mr. Hyphen" guy, that won Hyphen magazine's Asian Am man of the year thing?? He's a hottie... Sexy mutha--shut yo' mouth!
  • Claire · 2 years ago
Ooh, I'd also like to add Enrique Iglesias to my honorable mentions. Post-mole, pre- bizzare-self-defacing-penis-jokes, he's hot. He's half-Filipino, one of my older titas used to party with his insanely beautiful mother Chabeli.
  • Xxxtine · 2 years ago
In all seriousness, I have read in interviews that Dean Cain actually does identify himself as Japanese-American - perhaps this bit of information is often left out in editing as this is something to expect the media does.

The point is Dean Cain IS Asian (let go of the percentage thing for now). If someone chooses to treat someone a certain way based on what they look like - no one can control that, unfortunately and certainly isn't the point of this post. I mean, it's worse when say an actress who blatantly is half-Asian has an agent that goes, "Oh, we're not going that route."

Also, Zack Morris doesn't really float my boat. And I may be robbing the cradle when I say that YouTube's Kevin Jumba is adorably cute.
  • Kenny · 2 years ago
I understand your point but it doesn't matter which race you identify with but rather what people procieve you to be.

Let's assume, for the sake of argument, that no one had any background on Dean at all. Would the average person on the street interpret him as a white or Asian guy?

    That's my point.

Unless people pass him on the street and think "Asian guy," he's not. And in this case, I'm sorry, Dean Cain is *not* Asian. Russell Wong is hapa but I consider him an Asian man. Is it shallow? Of course but then again, racism is shallow.

I also wanted to point out that I'm not suggesting people pick a "team" either.

This is exactly why I get annoyed when my friend keeps saying that he's part Mexican. He has Mexican blood and he's free to celebrate holidays if he wants to but he isn't "Mexican." Give him a crew cut and he looks like a poster boy for the Hitler Youth.

    Whoops! Godwin's law!

    Bertie...

Holy crap how did we forget Brandon Lee?!! I swooned him so intensely during that Crow Black Gray Gothic Street Justice movie... what was it called? Something-Crow, I think. Black Crows? No. That's a music group, right? Gah. I don't know. As Xxxtine and pretty much everybody knows, I'm horrible at pop culture. I still think New Kids on the Block is "new." I mean, what? They're not together anymore? What? Haven't they been making all those songs all these years? Oh.. no? That was who? Backstreet Who?

Ooh. Tila Tequila is on MTV??? Sigh. Too bad I don't have cable.
  • Xxxtine · 2 years ago
    it's much simpler ... "The Crow" ...
  • Ben Hwang · 2 years ago
Some people think Jay Chou is hot. Not I. Not I.

Andy Lau is old school hot. Li Ya Peng isn't bad looking either.... gotta be decent to be married to Faye Wong.
  • Nicole Lee · 2 years ago
I can't believe no one has mentioned Lai Meng. DUDE. I used to have a poster on the guy on my bedroom wall. Oh the shame...

"I’d hardly consider Dean Cain Asian. He’s like a quarter Japanese and if you passed him on the street, you’d see him as white."

Uh, no I wouldn't. I can see he's asian persuasion a mile from here. He hardly looks white. Tall, dark and handsome.

Have you seen him he was a child?
